Why are sconce lights so beautiful?
Sconce lights bring light to our world. They are an artistic expression
handed down for hundreds of years.

Many sconce lights are hand crafted. Artisans take apprenticeship programs
to learn how to create a beautiful sconce light. Hence, a lot of thought
has gone into the production of each hand made light. Hand crafted lights
are ideal if it is in your budget. The beauty of a hand crafted like is
much preferred to mass produced lights.
Color
The tonal colors in your home say something about how you feel. You may
want a rich warm tone, a cool tone, or even a dark tone. You may want
a cool tone in a room that is traditionally too hot or a warm tone in
a room that is usually cold. The colors actually influence your mood.
Many people like a cool tone in the main living area of their homes and
warmer tones in the bedroom or family room. Finally, sconce lights bring
out color. The color of the items around them, especially the wall paint.
For example, light toned satin paint with warm colors make the wall glow
with a sconce light; an effect you cannot get any other way.
Space
The sun brings light and life to all living things. In our unnatural
indoor world, we use lighting to achieve a substitute for the sun. Sconce
lights bring the light closer to us. They are usually installed about
3/4 of the wall height. The beauty is that they can be installed any height
for short and tall people. Sconce lights bring in the light and glows
more like the sun than overhead lights. Why? Natural sunlight is yellow,
not bright white. Sconce lights usually are accompanied with some background
color making it feel like you are outside. Remember, if possible, to use
open windows and drapes to bring in outdoor light. Outdoor light has a
good way of filling a room that artificial light can not.
